Terms of use
Last updated: 10 October 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and [YOUR BUSINESS NAME] (“we”, “us”), of [YOUR ADDRESS, CITY, COUNTRY], for the I Can Call app and this website. Using the app means you accept them.
1. What I Can Call is
A practice tool. You hold spoken or typed conversations with simulated characters and receive feedback on how you handled them. The characters are not real people and nothing they say is advice.
2. What it is not
It is not therapy, counselling, or medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it does not diagnose or treat anything. The feedback describes how you communicated in that practice, nothing more. If a conversation in your life needs professional help, please get it. In an emergency, contact your local emergency services.
3. Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to use I Can Call.
- Give us an email address you control, and keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.
- One account per person. Don't create accounts to get around free limits.
4. Fair use
Don't use the app to break the law, harass anyone, or attack the service. Specifically, don't try to extract our content in bulk, resell access, reverse-engineer the app, run it through automated scripts, or use it to impersonate a real person in a way that could cause harm. We may suspend accounts that do.
5. Plans, minutes and payment
- The free plan includes a daily allowance of practice time. Paid plans include a monthly allowance. Allowances don't roll over.
- Paid plans are not currently on sale. The app says so, and no payment method is collected. Nothing you do in the app today will charge you.
- When paid plans open, prices will be shown before you buy, subscriptions renew until you cancel, and you'll be able to cancel at any time — your plan then runs to the end of the period you've paid for.
- Invite codes may grant a plan or extra minutes for a limited period. They have no cash value and we can withdraw unused codes.
6. Your content
What you say and type stays yours. You give us permission to process it only to run the service for you — producing replies during a call, writing your feedback, and showing your progress. We don't use your conversations to train AI models, and we don't publish them. How it's stored and deleted is set out in the privacy policy.
7. Our content
The app, this website, the characters, the written situations, the designs and the name belong to us. You may use them through the app; you may not copy, sell or republish them.
8. Call to Unlock (Android)
If you switch this on, you choose which apps are held back until you complete a practice call, and you grant Android's accessibility permission yourself. It is a self-control aid, not a security feature or parental control: you can turn it off at any moment, and so can anyone holding your unlocked phone. We're not responsible for anything you miss while an app of yours is held back.
9. Availability
We aim to keep the service running, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, provider failures or things outside our control. Features may change as the app develops. If we withdraw something significant that you've paid for, we'll offer a fair refund of the unused part.
10. Ending it
Delete your account in the app whenever you want; the data goes with it. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or where we're required to by law. If we close your account without good reason and you've paid, we'll refund the unused part.
11. Liability
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for the outcome of any real conversation you have. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited by law. Where liability can be limited, ours is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
12. Changes to these terms
If we change them in a way that affects you, we'll tell you in the app before it applies. Carrying on using I Can Call afterwards means you accept the new version.
13. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [YOUR COUNTRY], and its courts have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you keep the rights your local law gives you.
