Deleting your account
You can do this yourself, in about fifteen seconds, without asking anyone.
In the app
- Open I Can Call and go to Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Type DELETE to confirm (and your password, if you signed up with one).
It happens immediately. Your sign-in, profile, onboarding answers, practice history, transcripts, feedback, progress, voice preference and any app-locking rules are removed. Backups age out within about 30 days.
Just the history, not the account
Settings → Privacy → Delete history clears your past calls and feedback but keeps your account. In the same place you can stop transcripts being stored at all, so only the feedback is kept after each call.
If you can't get into the app
Email hello@icancall.app from the address you signed up with, with "Delete my account" in the subject. We'll confirm it's you and delete it, normally within a few days and always within one month.
We may keep a minimal record that an account with that email was deleted, so the same address isn't silently recreated with old data attached. It contains no practice content.
What we keep, and why
- Nothing of your practice. Transcripts and feedback go.
- Anonymous counts that can't identify you — for example "a practice session was completed" — may remain in our totals.
- If you had ever paid us, records required for tax and accounting would be kept for as long as the law requires. No payments are being taken today.
